in 1978, alice cooper released an album called “from the inside”. it was the album he produced right after going into rehab for alcoholism. one of the songs there is a sweet ballad called “how you gonna see me now”. it tells about a man’s apprehensions about going back to his wife after screwing up both their lives. he’s wondering if he’ll be accepted and if it will still be the same again. been to hell and back, honey. fade to black?

ayan tatlong kanta, para puno ng sipon at luha ang unan mo ngayong gabi.

oo nga pala, kinanta ni lisa simpson ang “god bless the child” ni billie holiday sa special episode na “the simpsons sing the blues”. kinanta rin ni homer dito yung “born under a bad sign”. hehehe… they made a CD out of this. find it if you can.

bigla tuloy akong napa-download ng “solitude”. hay… galing talaga. gusto nyong kopya? 3MB. hehehe… sinama ko na sa download yung “house of the rising sun” both by nina and the animals. tapos simahan ko pa ng nora jones na “come away with me”. walang kamatayanang kasentihan ang gabing ito. huhuhu… buti na lang at nandito ang partner ko sa tabi ko. di nga lang ako pinapansin dahil nag-ko-cross stich. hehehe. crotch tish? crotz tits? crotch tits?

namatay na pala si nina simone. isa siya sa mga unang artist na tinangkilik namin ni jet nung nagsisimula kaming nag-collect ng mga CD. marami siyang magagandang kanta at higit na maraming mga cover version ng mga standard blues, jazz at mainstream hits. siya ang naunang kumanta ng “House of the Rising Sun” (nung 1961), bago pa ito pinasikat ni eric burdon at ang “animals” nung 1964 (hindi animal husbandry, ha – ako yon eh).
