This is my brother Dante broadcasting from the tower of the J&T Building in Santa Mesa, Manila. He was the best Rock Jock at DZRJ.
Love you mom, Angela David!

A buddy of ours passed away today, Christmas morning in Manila. His name is Rolando Aquino. We call him Lando. Yes, like the original owner of the Millenium Falcon. He’s the guy on the upper right of this photo. This is how I’d like to remember him – at his peak with most of his life still ahead of him.
We’ve been classmates since 1st grade at Notre Dame of Manila. I was best man to his wedding and godfather to his first born. All through high school, we listened to Jackson Browne. He chased all the women and I watched him have fun. We had one hell of a fucking great time. All through the years I’ve known him, he always watched my back and was always on my side.
So long my classmate, my brother, my dear friend. With so much love.

My cousin Severino, passed away from COVID yesterday, during the longest darkest day of the year. He and I grew up together in Manila, along with the rest of the Sereno Motley Crew.
Sever is the kindest, most gentle person you’ll ever meet. He had the warmest smile and the kindest eyes. My heart breaks in a million pieces, knowing I won’t be able to see him anymore. I’m happy to have said goodbye even if it’s via Messenger. At least, we were able to sing to him his favorite songs.
His wife Anna, and two kids Vernon and Thomas will need our help. In lieu of a condolences comment, please contribute if you can. Thanks so much.
