eto na naman ako with my weekend listahan ng musika, libro, pelikula at laro. mga kalipunan ng mga ek-ek na gusto kong i-share. isa isahin natin sila:
SONG OF THE WEEK: “imitation of life” by R.E.M. isa na namang paboritong kanta galing sa isa sa aking paboritong grupo. masaya ang kantang ito at pwede mo itong patugtugin kahit saan. ako nga, pinapakinggan ko ito pag nagluluto ng weekend breakfast namin ni jet.
KASALUKUYANG NILALARO: ang titi ko. bwahaha. seriously, “HALO 2 Limited Collector’s Edition“. ang galing talaga ng game na ito. editor’s pick sa lahat halos ng mga reviews. yes virginia, the master chief RULES.
MGA PELIKULANG INTSIK: sale ngayon sa HMV singapore ang dalawang china related na pelikula kaya nabili ko ito ng wala sa oras. bernardo bertolucci’s classic “the last emperor” and wong kar-wei’s recent masterpiece “2046“. both should be good weekend movies at highly recommended. rewatching the last emperor now, i appreciate the film even more dahil nalibot na namin ni jet ang forbidden city.
KASALUKUYANG BINABASA: three graphic novels at the same time. isa sa pagtulog, isa sa banyo, isa habang nakaupo sa train. hehehe.
“Y-The Last Man, BOOK 4“. what the blurb says: “in the summer of 2002, a plague of unknown origin destroys every last sperm, fetus, and fully developed mammal with a Y chromosome – with the exception of amateur escape artist Yorick Brown and his surly male helper monkey ampersand“. what a great read.

neil gaiman’s 1602 – . what the blurb says: “1602 is significant in uniting two worlds: that of the Marvel Universe of super-heroes, all with their own history, and that of Neil Gaiman, who brings to the project literary respectability as well as his revered writing skills. ayan, kung may oras kayo to waste on a weekend, imbis na mangulangot ay subukan ninyo ito.
pahabol na tsismis: ang tagal ko na silang pinakikinggan pero ngayon ko lang nalaman na bading pala si michael stipe. well, who gives a fuck if he’s gay. it doesn’t change anything. i still love their music. kaya, more power to him and to the group.

Bising-busy tayo bosing a. Ngayon at nag-ba-bike ka na on your way to work, mejo nabawasan ang reading time mo ano?
For some unexplanable reason, hindi ko nakilala ng husto ang REM. Well except for the song “My Religion” ba yon? Kita mo, pati title di ko sigurado. Bading pala siya ha. Ewan ko ba kung bakit maraming sikat na bading. Mas exhibitionist yata sila kesa sa mga lalake e no? Well at least yan ang explanation ni Linda Lovelace kung bakit half gay ang karamihan sa mga porno stars. O yun ba nabasa mo? Inside Linda Lovelace title nun. hehehe
oo nga 1 hour of reading time ang nabawas sa akin dahil sa biking to work. pinupuno ko na lang ito by reading bago matulog. ganyan naman talaga – everything balances out in the end. umiikli nga lang ang sleeping time ko pero it’s not so bad. ang miss ko lang ay di na ako nakakapanood ng mga tao sa train. yan ang favorite hobby namin ni jet – people watching… at saka ako – ang magpatawa sa mga baby sa train by making faces (hindi feces, ok).
REM? sumikat sila nung 1980’s and by then di ka na siguro masyadong active sa music scence. oo, sila ang kumanta ng “losing my religion”. great song, BTW. sila rin yung kumanta ng “man on the moon”, “end of the world as we know it” at “everbody hurts”. i think those songs are all in the CD set that i gave you. di mo siguro pinapankinggan – hehehe. wala ka na sigurong oras.
sa entertainment industry marami ngang bading – siguro dahil mga artistically inclined talaga sila. sa high school namin, ang mga bading community ang in charge sa decorations ng school, school choir, contests, plays, etc. they really are a creative bunch. sino ba ang alam nating mga bading: elton john, boy george, rock hudson, liberace, etc. etc.
