Biker Dude

most days, nagbibisikleta ako papasok sa trabaho. 8 miles one way, siyempre 16 miles back and forth kasi sabi ni tandang paputok doon sa amin sa talipapa nung bata ako: eyt taymis tu equals sikisteen. outside of my time at home with jet, biking is the best part of my day. it takes me 50 minutes to get to work and 30 minutes going home. during that time, i am by myself, either planning my day or thinking about life. yes virginia, the to be or not to be kind of crap. all the while, i am listening to the latest news on my iPod, enjoying the scenery and the fucking awesome california weather. more than a year na akong regular biker at mayroon na akong routine at mga essentials.

  1. thank you.

in the overall scheme of bikes, nasa low end lang siya pero i love how sturdy and solid it is. 3 years old na siya this december and except for a string of flat tires lately, still going strong.

  2. Me designated bike lane ba duon sa route mo or you just keep as close to the edge of the road as you pedal along? It takes a lot of getting use to when cars pass by at high speed, especially when the space between you and the car is dangerously close.

  4. may rideshare program din kami sa city. i get $2 a day everytime i don’t use my car to work.

  5. wow $2 a day incentive just for biking that’s so cool…you get paid staying healthy while helping the environment, such a win win situation….

    rock on.

  8. fafaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

ingat ka ha… sometimes, pag naka-earphones, medyo hindi mo na naririnig yung paligid mo. just take a lot of ingat.
