It takes one for the running but two for the road

dear unkyel batjay,

  1. Pag meron akong problemang mahirap ma-solve, naglalakad ako. I don’t know but BANG! An idea hit me and problem solved.

Maybe there is something about walking or running that stimulates the brain. Or maybe it has something to do with the Yin and Yang. Yung teacher kong kung-fu master told me “Grasshopper, if your brain is tired, exercise your body to balance your mental and physical form”.

  3. ako din kapag kailangan ko ng ideas or solutions or i need to calm myself i walk….and walking or running don’t require much flexibility. very basic and easy pag nakapagstretching ka na ang gagawin mo lang ay move your left feet forward then your right, repeat until you reach your destination, instant exercise. tinry ko magyoga at pilates nahirapan akong sumunod sa nagtuturo. saka may flexibility issues din ako hehehe…….

  4. ako naman, may not following directions issues ako. may rebel tendencies pa rin kasi ako, kahit lang sa pagsunod sa mga exercise moves. yan din ang dahilan kung bakit hindi ako marunong mag sayaw. one of my biggest frustrations.

pero tama ka about walking (and in my case, running as well), it does give me so much pleasure, especially when i walk here in california where the weather’s always great.

redjeulle: we need to break rules, one way or another. i think it’s how we’re built as humans. think of it as baby steps that we take as we grow up that is needed so we can break free from our parents.

  8. rules? hmmm…basta ako – “i fight authority, authority always wins”…simple lang pero there’s a rebel deep inside me…or maybe the non-conformist in me…one of the reasons i enjoy running – i can be me…nobody can tell me how fast or how slow i should go…
