Blow away the dreams that tear you apart

here i go again, talking about running ang music. somehow, tied together sila sa buhay ko ngayon, and if i might add, really tight.

running keeps me fit and healthy – wala pa rin akong iniinom na gamot para sa diabetes ko hanggang ngayon dahil binababa ng pagtakbo ang blood sugar ko at cholesterol. music, on the other hand, keeps me sane – kung walang musika sa buhay ko siguro matagal na akong nag hurumentado.

pag pinagsama ko ang pagtakbo at pakikinig ng musika, something special happens. it becomes almost like a religious experience. not a small thing to say for someone like me who doesn’t have a god to look up to. kaya, if ever you’re in southern california at makita ninyo akong tumatakbong mag-isa sa kalsada with a silly grin, huwag kayong mag-isip na nasisiraan na ako ng bait.

it’s just me having a great time.

song of the week ay “Promised Land” ni springsteen. ewan ko ba, it’s uplifting, it’s inspiring and it rocks.

The dogs on Main Street howl
’cause they understand
If I could take one moment into my hands
Mister I ain’t a boy, no I’m a man
And I believe in a promised land

hail bruce. “you, the man” ika nga ng mga taga rito.

not only is this great workout/driving music, the playlist is nice to listen to on an autumn sunday afternoon habang nagluluto ng dinner.

  4. INGAT LANG SA DIABETES MO. IF YOU ARE NOT TAKING MEDICINE NOW YOU SHOULD CUT DOWN ON SUGAR AND GO AND SEE UR DOCTOR. U ARE STILL YOUNG BUT AS U GET OLDER U NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL!

PASENSYA KA NA GALING LANG AKO SA DOCTOR KO, ITO ANG SABI NIYA SA AKIN, MAGBAWAS DAW AKO NG TIMBANG…SENSYA NA

  5. i like how you are physically active. the last time i went for a run was in college! i think! hahah…. but it’s true though, music does makes exercise better (or anything else for that matter)
