TALES FROM BEHIND THE WALL, PART 3

  2. He he … madalas nga na yung mga nagpapaalala ang nabibiktima. Bakit nga kya ganun?

Regarding ke Pacquiao, umilag lang ata si pareng Manny … sabay counter punch … labo nya … kainis! šŸ˜›

BTW, before I saw the redirect I was wondering how to contact you & tell you your site is DOWN hehe Silly me, alam ko namang sa dami ng readers mo e na-spam ka na.

WAAAH!

  7. You probably don’t remember me, but I graduated with you from Notre Dame in ’83. We immigrated to the States in 1984 and have lost touch (I’m ashamed to admit) with most of our acquaintances in the old country…

Long story as to how I came upon your blog…needless to say it’s good to hear about your success (not to mention watching your music videos!). If I have one regret, it’s that I was too shy to talk to anyone from the day school side (except for Cornelio Lozada and a few others with whom I interacted on a semi-regular basis). I know that getting a message from someone who didn’t even speak to you in high school would be…surreal at least.

Coincidentally, my brother Richard (who also attended Notre Dame evening but left for the States) was talking about Mr. Chavez not too long ago; I emailed him the link to your blog and I’m sure he’ll have a blast reading about his hair…

Presently I’m working in Long Beach as “data Nazi;” I’ve been married since ’01, and I’m also the proud mother of a 5-year old aspiring interpretive dancer/pianist/veterinarian/etc.

Wishing you all the best, and looking forward to reading more of your blog…

    • Hi Daisy,

Still remember me from night school? I bet you still you do. How are you and Lilibeth doing now ?

Just started looking for websites and any link whatsoever related to Notre Dame batch 83. Good thing I found this site after googling so many names from our batch. You need not be ashamed, buti ka you have a valid reason of not being able to communicate with the others, you’re too far away. Eh ako nandito lang sa Quezon City and I haven’t had any word with anyone from our batch. 😦

Sayang, I was in Long Beach 3 years back (2006) with my family and was in LA again last year with them. If I had known you were there I would have tried to contact you. Now I have the itch to find out the others’ whereabouts.

I had thought Lilibeth migrated but didn’t know to the US. I saw her last in UP Diliman during 1st sem of 1983. After that nothing na. Kumusta mo na lang ako sa kanya. May family na din sya ?

As for me, I have a dentist-wife and 2 young girls, ages 10 and 11, and growing fast. Am involved in sales

I hope you get this message and to see you soon. Who knows maybe in US or here if you visit. Any plans. Do you have any contact with others from our class ?

  8. hi daisy.

i do remember you. hindi ko lang maalala kung ikaw or yung sister mo ang valedictorian. ikaw yata, if i’m not mistaken. matagal na pala kayo rito – 1984. wow! over 20 years. and you live and work in long beach. malapit lang pala dito sa amin.

my wife and i are here in lake forest. we arrived here almost 2 years ago after i was transferred from our singapore office. it’s been great so far – nurse ang wife ko and she works in a hospital near tustin.

it’s a good thing that you sent me a note. you shouldn’t be shy talking to any of us. in fact, imbitahin ka namin in our gatherings here in LA. marami tayo rito sa southern california from batch 83 and we see each other from time to time. in fact, if you read my blog, you’ll probably see some of them in the pictures.

it’s not surreal – many people from notre dame have written me after they’ve read my blog about school. especially the long post about my kinder to high school years. i’ve met mr. chaves through her daugher from the blog, so there you go.

nasa oil and gas industry ka pala. that’s nice to hear. matagal ka na riyan? how is your sister? siguro malapit din siyang nakatira sa inyo. i hope to hear from you soon.

    ingat!
    jay

    • Hi ,

Am so thankful to have found this website and found one of my classmates in high school. Do you know of any other link or website for NDGM batch 83 ?

      Thanks.
